Wonderful Expierence - Voula field school 2026

I was a year-long student with CYA and joined the archaeology field school at Voula for the winter session, and I had an absolutely amazing time. The dig was both informative and fun. It was very hands-on and truly allowed me to gain the experience I was looking for in the field.

Professor Karavas led the field school for us, and he was wonderful. He is very knowledgeable while also being a truly engaging and fun professor to learn from. The cohort there with me was also amazing, and we all connected quickly.

In addition, Athens is an incredible city with so much to offer in terms of food, adventure, and history. You have plenty of time to explore it during the evenings and weekends. I definitely recommend CYA’s winter session. It is a blast.
