The experience with HLD was unlike any that I have had before. The program offers a wide variety of experiences from shadowing doctors in a hospital to building houses in a local community. The company is run by a wonderful group of individuals who ensure that the trip is the best it can possibly be. Throughout the trip you come to know and love the country and its people. Overall, the trip exceded my expectations and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to volunteer abroad.
