Child Protection Volunteer

Volunteering with Volunteers Initiative Nepal (VIN) in the rural district of Okhaldhunga was a deeply rewarding experience. From the moment I arrived, the team and local community welcomed me with open arms. The highlight of my placement was working directly with the Early Childhood Development (ECD) kids—engaging with the children, supporting their early learning, and seeing their enthusiasm every day made a lasting impact. Staying in Okhaldhunga offered an authentic look into traditional Nepali life while seeing VIN's real, long-term dedication to community development. I highly recommend VIN to anyone looking for a meaningful, hands-on volunteering experience in Nepal!
