1 Month Gap Year Immersion at Haiti

Travel with your teammates to the Northern coast of Haiti to live and serve with local people. Along the way, you'll partner with a group of young local men who oversee EM's Education Program in Haiti as well as a local pastor and his family—learning more about their vision and passion for their country. Cap-Haitien is an urban community with deep colonial roots and a history of struggling for independence.

As you immerse yourself in Haitian culture, you'll learn the value of embracing a more simple, slow-paced life and experience the realities of life within the poorest country in the Western hemisphere. You'll be challenged to overcome cultural and language barriers to build authentic relationships with a resilient community.
