Spend the summer learning Japanese in bustling Tokyo! Improve your language skills while exploring your host family’s community and making new friends. Become a global citizen, and develop skills, experience, and maturity that equip you for success in an increasingly globalized world – all while you’re still in high school!

Choose between a 3, 4, or 7 week-long program in Tokyo. Each program consists of a home stay with a local family and Japanese conversation and language classes five days a week. Students will participate in additional cultural activities in the afternoons and on the weekends. These include tours through Tokyo, visiting museums and cultural sites, and a three-day trip to Mt. Fuji or Kyoto, depending on the program you choose. Most evenings and weekend days are spent with your host family, learning about their culture, meeting their friends, and participating in daily Japanese family life.
