High School Programs in Morocco

ince the summer of 2004, Thaqafat Association has designed, organized, and run the Summer Abroad Program in Morocco with its partner organization, Experiment in International Living.

Every summer, this program hosts a group of high school students (15 to 19 years old) from different social and cultural backgrounds. The EIL Summer Abroad Program in Morocco helps students develop a more comprehensive understanding of Moroccan cultures and languages. Our students have the opportunity to experience everyday, Moroccan life and to learn about their host country from a hands-on, local perspective. Students are immersed in Moroccan culture as they live and work with host families and members of a Moroccan village. In the process, participants will not only gain knowledge of Morocco, but they will also improve their communication skills and achieve a sense of accomplishment and confidence.
