About Program

Head to Namibia this summer to experience conservation in action with National Geographic Explorers, leading ecologists, and storytellers. Choose your On Assignment focus—either Photography or Wildlife Conservation—and delve into your area of ​​interest. Along the way, take safari photos of iconic African wildlife such as elephants, hyenas, giraffes and gemsboks; go sea ​​kayaking in Walvis Bay; and scale the massive dunes of the Namib Desert.
