About Program
Institute of Baltic Studies, one of the leading policy research think-tanks in Estonia, offers internship opportunities in Tartu, Estonia, throughout the year.
We accept applications continuously and we are looking for motivated students, graduates or individuals who have an interest in social and political issues. The assignments of internship usually consist of a combination of research, analytical and administrative tasks.
Our main areas of work are:
- Social cohesion: migration processes, national and regional integration policies of ethnic minorities, social exclusion of young immigrants
- Innovation: competitiveness, innovation, research, and technology policy studies;
- Regional and economic development: competitiveness of the Estonian and Baltic economy, regional innovation strategies, evaluation and impact assessment of EU cohesion policy measures and other programmes on economic and regional development.
