Education through Music and dance

The Dance Africa Foundation in Accra offer foreigners an insight into the traditional Ghanaian art and culture through drumming and dancing lessons. The group has talented teachers with long experience of teaching both foreigners and locals the traditional music and dancing as well as carving and the making of African instruments. The group focus a lot on development project through engaging local people and youth in art and also want to include foreigners in this project.Dance Africa Foundation is also aiming at strengthening the participation of young people in Ghana and abroad the Ghanaian culture as a means of boosting their self-confidence and further to empower young people with the requisite knowledge and skill in the dance and in production of handicrafts in order to reduce unemployment.Dance Africa Foundation has developed a periodic workshop on drumming for homeless kids in the capital, villages and other part of the country.
