About Program

We offer an internship in which the student will receive hands on training in marine ecology field work and laboratory methods.

The student will get the opportunity to go conduct fieldwork with an experienced team of professionals, collecting both ecological as well as environmental data in the marine environment. In the laboratory, the student will receive hands-on training and supervision, with the focus being mainly on identifying and classifying organisms collected out in the field. The student will also have the opportunity to experience a wide range of other natural science-related fieldwork including bird monitoring, freshwater ecosystems assessments, aquaculture-related monitoring as well as terrestrial vegetation studies.
