About Program

Volunteers/interns are needed to assist in local hospitals which have good facilities and equipment’s, but facing deficit in terms of staff resources to cope with the high number of patients daily. This project suits also medical internship’s in all levels i.e., dental, pharmacist, physiotherapist etc. The project is open the whole year and volunteers are free to participate anytime even on short notice, also suitable for internships.

Work: Patient’s registration, check-ups, treatments, testing, injection, vaccinating, dressing, drug prescription, imaging services, counseling, maternity deliveries, emergency services, nursing, wheeling patients, supporting in women, men and pediatric wards. The hospitals are community owned and non-profit making.

Young medical students from Canada take part on medical camps in rural health centers
The main Gate of the Rift valley General hospital in Nakuru County, also accomodates Nursing college
Volunteers/intern can choose to stay in aguest house will all th facilities or with a host family close to the hosiptal with privacy and all services available full board accomodation, meals and canteen coffee at the hospital all paid
Volunteers/interns have the opportunity over the weekends to tour magical lake nakuru twenty munites drive from the hospital, have a full day tour, amazing view and photography, the lake is a home for nature and bird waching lovers, perfcet to relax after work.
Medical internship /volunteering offer an opportunity for students to do safarti expediton in the famous masai mara game park, in a cheap and comfortable travel packages
