Go-Elective’s dental programs offer dental students and aspiring professionals exposure to diverse practices in limited oral healthcare settings in East Africa. In regions where dental care is costly and often inaccessible, patients typically seek help only when conditions are severe, offering valuable learning opportunities through advanced cases, including extractions and complex procedures.
In contrast, our Pre-Dentistry Internships allow pre-dental students to shadow experienced dentists in high-pressure environments. Participants gain clinical exposure, career insights, and cultural experience, and can join hygiene clinics that promote oral health in local communities abroad.
Additionally, we provide comprehensive support, including assistance in selecting the ideal destinations and dental specialties—such as community health, pediatric dentistry, and extractions—as well as thorough pre-trip preparation and 24/7 in-country support.
