Qualifications
  • Applicants must – at a minimum – have completed secondary level education.
  • Interns/Volunteers may be either nationals of the relevant duty station, a foreign national residing at the duty station, or a foreign national who travels (on his/her own expenses) to the duty station to take up the placement.
  • Proficient in English and Arabic (or in English and another official UN language)
  • Computer literate in standard software applications.
  • Demonstrate a keen interest in the work of UN in general and of UNRWA in particular.

UNRWA Lebanon Field Office (LFO) regularly offers up the chances for unpaid Internship/Volunteer, for national and international students, to acquire work experience within their field of studies and to put into practice their field of study. And also gain work experience in an international environment Contribute to one of the largest and longest running humanitarian projects of our era.

The UNRWA, Lebanon Field Office, is looking for potential Interns/Volunteers in various disciplines related to its activities. Depending on qualifications and availability, candidates may be selected for an Internship/Volunteer ship that relates either to the organization's strategic activities or to administrative or technical functions.

The duration of an Internship/Volunteer can vary from a minimum of 2 months to a maximum of 11 months, mainly depending on the requirements of the placement and the availability of the student.
