Ever dreamt of swimming alongside a 9 metre Whale Shark? Crouching on the reef as a Giant Manta Ray glides directly overhead? Having a Humpback Whale mother and calf dance with you as you head back to the surface? Then look no further than completing your SSI Divemaster qualification in the megafauna capital of the world, TOFO BEACH!
During your internship, you will learn to dive on the pristine reefs of Southern Mozambique, assist in the day to day logistics and operations of Southern Africa's busiest dive operator and dive alongside researchers from the world-renowned Marine Megafauna Foundation, collecting valuable data on Whale Sharks, Mantas and much more.
Our expert team of Instructors go above and beyond to ensure the highest level of training for our Divemaster Interns. On top of the SSI Divemaster curriculum, you will receive weekly biology/conservation presentations, advanced training in underwater rescue and problem solving and 5 SSI specialty diver certifications.
