Study Abroad in England

Why did you pick this program?

I picked this program for multiple reasons: I wanted to study abroad and England was on my travel list, the course applied to my major, and a friend who spent a semester in England highly suggested it as place to study.

What do you tell your friends who are thinking about going abroad?

Do it. You don't get that many opportunities to go. It will be worth it and you will come back with memories and experiences you will never forget.

What is one piece of advice you'd give to someone going on your program?

Make sure to take advantage of every opportunity the program offers. Let yourself experience every little thing that comes along because you most likely will never get the chance to do it again. Don't miss out on a single experience.

What's your favorite story to tell about your time abroad?

One of my favorite stories to tell is about my experience going to observe in one of the schools. I went to observe in a music classroom and was talking to the teacher before the class started and he asked me if I would like to sing and play guitar for the students. It ended up being the moment I truly felt immersed into the culture.

What was the class itself like?

The class that you take for this program is very interesting and engaging. The two professors are very nice and educated. We got to learn about a different style of teaching that could benefit students. I enjoyed taking this class a lot.
