I chose this program because I know how important it is to understand how automation and simulation work in the engineering world. I chose it because Germany is a country I really admire for its history and people. I knew this program would add a lot to my life.

Why did you choose this program?
What did your program provider assist you with, and what did you have to organize on your own?
I had all the support I needed. It was incredible, and I had nothing to worry about. The program provider helped me with housing, breakfast, city tour and making friends.
The main things I had to organize on my won were the flight tickets and extra nights I stayed there.
What is one piece of advice you'd give to someone going on your program?
Talk to people. Meet new people. People are a huge source of information, knowledge and happiness. Get to know the city and other cities too, if you have the chance. There are many special prices for students.
Going into your experience abroad, what was your biggest fear, and how did you overcome it? How did your views on the issue change?
My biggest fear was to fail speaking German. But I tried a lot to learn whatever I could! People are always open to help and they understand we're learning and it's okay to make mistakes.
Did you only study?
Not at all! Studying is really important but don't focus on this part of your trip! Go out, hang out with your new friends, get to know the historical parts of the city! It's ok to conciliate!
