Why did you pick this program?

I picked the Dominican Republic because of the beautiful location and the program seemed to have a good balance of volunteer work and fun.

What do you tell your friends who are thinking about going abroad?

I tell my friends to make sure they are prepared to go abroad and make sure to capture the experience in their head for future stories to tell and memories to share.

What is one piece of advice you'd give to someone going on your program?

I would advise someone going on my program to document the events and experiences you have on the trip in a journal and take lots of pictures!

What's your favorite story to tell about your time abroad?

I love telling stories about the first time communicated and spoke with the local Dominican children in Spanish while running the day camp.

Do you have suggestive coming on the trip with a friend or friends?

PI believe that it depends on the type of traveller and person you are. Keep in mind that the trip will be an amazing opportunity for you to make new friends!
