Why is language learning and cultural immersion important to you?

Interning abroad is the kind of experience like no other. Within our program, students can learn Spanish on a daily basis as well as having an intensive course provided.

They also learn a great amount of professional skills, but most of all from this experience they will grow emotionally, becoming more open-minded.

What unique qualities does your company possess?

Our company wants to provide interning students with a unique 360-degree internship experience in Barcelona. We think it is quite important for them to live like a local and interning at one of our coworking spaces in our Gracia neighborhood. This authentic program has been designed by locals -- providing the best living and working environments, as well as guidance on leisure activities to do around the city.

The interning experience, along with our spanish courses will help students understand the local culture and improve their experience in our city. Our main goal is that each student has a unique experience so that Barcelona becomes a part of them forever.

We have two fundamental goals at our coworking centers: collaborative work as freelancers and small businesses who share the space, begin their startups and offering you a different side of Barcelona through experiencing our coworking centers.

With these two goals, it is then possible for you to leave behind the tourist or visitor clichés people may have about our city. We are very proud of our city and wish for you to feel at home in it during your stay.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

The best story we’ve heard from a return student, it doesn’t have anything to do with Barcelona night life or even the sunny beaches but really it has to do with the goals that brought this student to Barcelona:

"Realizing I have to return home in just a few weeks has been a hard reality to grasp. I know I will miss all of the people and culture Barcelona brought into my life, but I know I will miss most the environment in which I got to intern for two months. I not only learned a lot about marketing (which was the main reason I came), but more importantly about the people around me, their lives and that work doesn’t have to be a dreaded 8 hours of the day where you simply stare at a computer screen and count down the minutes until you are free to go “live” your life. I know I will take this lesson back home with me.
