I still remember that when I went to Britain as an exchange student, we Chinese students and the university students had a social, in which we showed them Chinese traditional culture such as Chinese calligraphy, tea art and zither, etc. And the British students also showed us their culture. It was a fantastic experience! It is interesting and significant to communicate with people from different cultures. Therefore, I took up a job about cultural exchange when I graduated.

Candy Ge is an English Language and Literature graduate from the Capital Normal University. She once studied in the University of Oxford for a short period. She shows great interest in ancient Chinese culture and has worked as a teacher of ancient Chinese culture for several years. She has rich experience in children education and has worked as a leader and coordinator of summer and winter camps for teenagers.
What is your favorite travel memory?
What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?
In my opinion, team cohesiveness is of great significance. Individual power is limited, but a united team can make everyone feel a sense of belonging and give full play of himself/herself. In addition, for a successful team, an explicit goal decides the direction. A Chinese saying goes: If brothers are of the same mind, their sharpness can cut through metal. It‘s my honor to work in a team that has a strong unity and the same goal.
How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?
When I devoted myself to this career, I felt the responsibility that I had in this team. I become more careful than before. I often discuss and study with my colleagues and I have learned how to consider from different perspectives and work as a team instead of making my own decisions. It makes me more willing to work as a member of the team, these I think are my changes.
What unique qualities does your company possess?
When I was in college, I did many part-time jobs and worked as volunteers in some activities. But I feel quite different in this company. I can concentrate in my work. We will deal with even small issues seriously and sincerely. The unique quality in our company is the careful and professional attitudes towards our work, and the sincerity to treat others.
Describe a time when you felt especially proud to be part of your current team.
Always. I am proud of being part of my team always and I enjoy the time to work with my colleagues. I am motivated every day. So do my colleagues. They are passionate and enthusiastic. Such a positive and cheerful team can surely make us all proud of it.
