As a teacher and mother of 6 children, Jennifer has extensive volunteer experience in both India and Sri Lanka prompted by overseas adoption of two Indian children during the 1990's. She is passionate about and committed to helping in the areas of education and community support.

What is your favorite travel memory?

Whilst volunteering in Northern India - visiting McLeod Ganj and trekking up Dhauladhar Range.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

Through the experiences with iSPiiCE I have developed greater respect for people.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

A beautiful woman who volunteered with iSPiiCE stayed on in India and helped develop the program.

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

I love the whole experience iSPiiCE offers. Teaching in daycare centers and small communities and the excursions to incredible landmarks - the Taj Mahal, Golden Temple, trekking, Amber Forte, and many more.

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

The great care they take in ensuring volunteers have a worthwhile and memorable experience, enjoy home cooked traditional meals, and are taken on excursions accompanied at all times. I was especially proud when we were trekking and one of the volunteers experienced difficulty - she was given lots of supportive encouragement and completed the course.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

Attention to detail. Ensuring that people are safe at all times. Efficient and reliable travel arrangements. Comfortable accommodation.
