There's too many, I wouldn't want to choose a favorite. Here are a few recent experiences that top my list: just before Christmas, I was surrounded by a troop of 500 baboons while in Ethiopia, and exploring a temple's closed off catacombs in Thailand was a real highlight too.
What is your favorite travel memory?
How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?
I've written for the company for several years, so I'd certainly like to think that my writing has improved. It helps that when I write for TFV (Teacher's Friend - Vietnam), I get to write about somewhere I'm passionate about. I spent two years in the country and am bursting with things to say about it.
What is the best story you've heard from a return student?
I've spoken to teachers who have described their experience with the company as 'a life changing experience'. Teachers who were originally too nervous to travel abroad returning home full of confidence and new vitality.
If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?
Well I've already had my Vietnam experience, but if I was to return, it would have to be as part of the Hanoi Package, as that city never fails to blow my mind. It's probably my favorite city in the world.
What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?
The whole format is unique, no other company offers the services that Teacher's Friend - Vietnam does. It's the perfect compromise between going it alone and a big corporate placement company.
