Title:
Assistant Manager

What is your favorite travel memory?

I have been living in the UK for a while, and as a result, I know how crucial an experience abroad can be. One doesn't know how independent you can become until living on your own abroad.

Working with students from around the globe creates kind of international atmosphere, so you are halfway in your home country and halfway abroad, which is cool.

My favorite memories are found in creating experiences for our students as I often rediscover my own country as well as other beautiful European cities. For instance, I'm currently looking into a weekend trip for our students that we'll organize during summer.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

I am happy to answer this question as my way of thinking about providing a service to clients has changed completely during the last four years.

When Barbora, the actual program manager came to me with an idea of creating the CHP Program, I was excited and happy to say I am in! Educating students in healthcare sounded like a great professional opportunity. I have started to read articles about business, marketing, clients, statistics and other literature for start-up entrepreneurs...

The day-to-day tasks I have been performing - from writing articles to uploading Facebook statuses - have helped me to develop my marketing skills. I have also started university studies focused on media and marketing and I could instantly apply my knowledge in the program, which was nice connection between school and work.

But! The best know-how I have gained was surprisingly not from guidelines and school, but from real students. Their feedback can help you to improve your service like no book could ever tell you!

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

There are many stories but the one that comes to mind is a story of two girls who met each other here in Prague during the ER placement and they were later on accepted to the same university.

One of them was not sure at first if urgent medical care was right for her, but her colleague - fellow student - supported her so much during the placement that they became close friends and are still in touch to this day.

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

I would love to go on our Gynecology and Obstetrics placement with the CHP Program and be witness of the moment when a new life is born.

I think it is so intimate and magical and I am always grateful that our students can be the part of the medical and midwife teams in this specialized center.

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

With CHP Program our students are choosing the department themselves. That is a great advantage and also a perfect choice for those who are not sure about their desired specialty yet.

We realize that specialties differ a lot from each other, and someone who is interested in neurosurgery would maybe not appreciate placement in the ER and vice versa. Another reason students choose us is the possibility to see their mentoring teams in advance – online on our website. That is the way they can identify themselves with mentors and that aspect can help them with choosing the right placement.

We think that preparation is a key to success, that is why we have put together the exclusive study materials related to each specialty. With this, students are able to come to their placement with a solid knowledge base and understand the cases they are observing. These materials have been created in the cooperation with our mentors, so you are preparing for your working experience according to the required level and able to gain the most out of it.

Speaking with our students and hearing the reasons why they chose us among other companies makes me proud every time. The unique concept of the CHP Program as I have described, is brought to life through our students and mentors.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

Through my work as an Assistant Manager, I love to be in daily contact with young people from all over the world who are doing their best to reach their career goals. Also, as a current student of marketing and media, I appreciate the possibility to apply my theoretical knowledge when preparing creative materials for the CHP Program.

A friendly atmosphere, the feeling of being professionally satisfied, and being able to trust in your own team are key factors for a successful company. Clients can feel these things instantly and it influences their own experience.
