What is your favorite travel memory?

When I was young I used to travel a lot with my parents around Europe, however I can say the most memorable trip was my first visit to China.

The cultural difference, the amazing people, the food and also the fact that I was traveling by plane, alone for the first time, all of this made for an amazing experience.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

I first started working for MTA as a Marketing Intern after having only one year of work experience in a relocation company. After my 6 month internship, I was hired full-time and in the past 2 years I have been handling Online Marketing and Sales in different European countries.

Through this I started learning more about business and about how this particular company works in every aspect. Since I was promoted to the position of Assistant General Manager, I've been in charge of managing and training our interns, office administration, and dealing with some aspects of our Finance department.

Our company is not very big, which has given me the opportunity to be involved in more departments and learn more about how this business works.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

Students have a lot of fun in China while doing their internship and we've heard a lot of wonderful stories. That being said, the best thing we can hear from our return students is that their experience in China and the things they learned from their internship helped them graduate, pursue another degree, or find a great job back home.

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

I would definitely chose the internship program. I did an internship with MTA before and I do believe that it opened the door for this current position and helped me understand what a proper working environment looks like.

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

I believe the best thing that MTA has is our team. We are a foreign owned company and the majority of our staff are foreigners coming from India, Mauritius, Germany, France, the U.S., and of course, Romania.

All of the foreigners in the company, including our CEO, started their career with an internship in China. Therefore, we know exactly what our clients are looking for and how to cater to their needs and budgets.
