What is your favorite travel memory?
The first time I went to Switzerland -- I saw so many mountains!. It made me like I was in a place so similar to my own country. I did so many new things during my time there, specifically in terms of sports. I used my German language skills on a regular basis.
A very special part of my trip was a motorcycle tour that I took. I also enjoyed the time I spent in German on this trip, as it's a very familiar country to me due to having many friends who live there, and it always makes me feel at home.
What is the best story you've heard from a return student?
I could write a book about all of the positive and great stories I have heard from past students. One of my favorites is the happiness of a student who so badly wanted to work in a branch of the company he was doing an internship in Ecuador.
When he returned to his home in Hamburg, Germany the company reached out to him and he was offered a good position. He is still working there today and is always so happy that his hard work turned into an opportunity.
If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?
This is a difficult choice, however, I would choose a journalism related program as I would love the opportunity to express my ideas and thoughts.
What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?
The flexibility that we have with our candidates makes us unique. As does the personal level in which we interact with our students, interns, and volunteers. Our goal is not to keep growing rapidly, we want to continue to offer these special, customized services and experiences to our students.
What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?
I think the size of our company makes us successful. We have the perfect number of staff members to manage the intern and volunteer candidates that we receive and can provide them with the great service and personalized experience that every participant deserves.
