Tell us about yourself, Carlos.

I am from Colombia and have been living in Quebec for almost 5 years helping students find the perfect program to fit their needs. I love to travel and experience new things.

What is your favorite travel memory?

Going to the Amazon. The environment is amazing, everywhere you look you see something new. I was in awe during the whole trip. The weather is extreme, the food is unique and the jungle is incredible -- there's no other place like it.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

Probably how the city changes depending on the time of the year that they visit. Every element (people, landscape, life in general) adapts to the weather.

The activities that our students can enjoy are very diverse. From the ice hotel and dog sledding in winter, to the Festival d'Été during the summer, and the pumpkin festivals in the fall, Quebec has an unlimited amount of activities for everybody.

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

French & Tennis Camp. It's my favorite sport and I would love to combine it with a learning experience in a city as amazing as Quebec. To be honest, I would probably try any of our sports programs. And maybe one week of multi-activity, just to get to see the city and to try a different activity every day.

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

We adapt to each one of our clients. We are very flexible and we are able to create unique experiences for all of our students. We have programs that no one offers.

We really want our students to learn and improve their French. We actually have a 100% French rule on-campus, which means that no employee can answer a student in any language other than French. It's a bit of a cliché, but our team will go the extra mile to guarantee that our students have a learning and fun experience.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

Being ahead of the curve, being able to adapt to new trends (consumer, industry, competitors), clear communication between all employees. A leader you want to follow. Listening to your clients, before, during and after your service. Not being afraid of taking risks or doing something different.
