The first time Narda traveled alone was when she participated in the Work & Travel program in the USA. From that moment on, she knew she wanted to travel all over the world and meet new people and cultures.

As a social communicator, she has the desire to motivate students to make exchanges that contribute to their professional and personal growth.

What is your favorite travel memory?

In 2012, I went to Brazil to work as a volunteer with children and adolescents in public schools in Sao Paulo. It was a unique opportunity to learn about intercultural education and the needs students have.

In addition, I had the opportunity to visit different beautiful places in the country and share experiences with the Brazilian people, learn to dance samba and practice Portuguese. I will always remember this trip!

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

I started working at EdOdyssey almost a year ago and I feel very comfortable with the whole team. Each semester, I learn something new with the group of students I advise, not only academically but emotionally.

I have the opportunity to develop different skills and discover some that I didn't think I had. It is very important to have a job that challenges you to grow as a person and as a professional, where you leave your comfort zone and dare to do great things.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

Each semester we receive a new group of students, with many expectations of getting to know other cultures and having new experiences. In general, it is exciting to see how they are adapting little by little to the new environment, how they dare to leave their comfort zone and fears behind.

The most rewarding thing is to see how the exchange had a positive effect on the students and how they motivate their friends to travel outside their country and get to know other realities.

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

I think teamwork makes EdOdyssey unique. Each member has a defined personality and their own dreams, but we all work towards one goal. We are all focused on doing things in an excellent way and contributing to the personal and professional development of students.

We are proud of our team when it is the end of an exchange and we see that the students have had a beautiful experience in Peru, learned about our customs, history, and ways of thinking. But especially when we feel that with our work we were able to influence them in a positive way.
