What is your favorite travel memory?

This memory is when I really appreciated how amazing my travel experience is going to be.

When I visited Whitehaven Beach, it was the most incredible view I had ever seen! It was so peaceful, and it made me realize all the opportunities I was going to have through my travel experience. When I first came over to Australia, I had no idea how it was going to work out. At this time, I knew the risk was going to pay off.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

This job has made me realize that as long as you are enjoying yourself, and you feel passionate about what you are doing, everything always comes together in the best way possible.

I have become a lot more open to facing new challenges and tests that is thrown at me. It’s all about living and enjoying the moment.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

“It was everything you said it would be and more, Shona.”

Knowing all the fun times I had while traveling to particular places, and that other people got to experience the exact same thing is a very comforting and encouraging feeling. Seeing people become best friends or find someone they love always shows that the risk of traveling is always worth it!

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

I would love to take part in our 18-day Thai Intro – which I will 100% do!

Every time I explain to my group what the intro includes, it convinces me a little bit more just to get up and go to experience this incredible country straight away. I have always wanted to visit the elephant sanctuary, and because of this tour, I shall be getting that ticked off my life bucket list very soon!

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

Our work team is full of incredible people who are all so passionate about the company and aim to help people from all walks of life to have the best experience in these beautiful countries. We have experienced firsthand all of the tours, so we can share our personal experiences. We all have the same mindset of wanting to make this company the biggest and best in all aspects.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

It’s all about the experience.

As a company, our biggest priority is to make sure everyone has the time of their life. We focus on the personal touches, and really get to know all our group members. We don't look at ourselves as a 'leader' of the group, but a good friend... who happens to know the best things to do!
