After my graduation in Singapore Polytechnic, I had some free time to myself before I had to enlist into the army for national service. My mother and I decided to take a parent and child bonding trip to Toko, Japan. During this time, even though we fought and argued, we came to understand each other better and how each of us worked and thought. One similarity we shared was a knack for adventure and the unknown; all we did beforehand for the trip was book the flights and the hotels and winged the rest of the trip only deciding where to go on the fly.

What is your favorite travel memory?
How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?
Within the last 2 months, I have gained Invaluable knowledge within this company, which nothing in school would have been able to teach or prepare me for, through my fulfilling but wholesome experience within my company and its culture.
A double-edged sword, joining an SME means that your workload is nearly never-ending, with almost no end in sight except for a goal of growing the company. On the other hand, it also means that one gets to learn nearly everything and everything that happens around them in a very short amount of time, thus creating an exposure unparalleled in MNCs. Therefore, I have been able to learn things that are outside my area of expertise and even outside of my department.
What is the best story you've heard from a return student?
A student has once commented to me that our company is unparalleled in its own industry within Singapore, not just in terms of the educational content we provide through experienced and current industry trainers but in its futuristic views of digitalized world, industry and culture, as compared to other educational institutes that provide similar courses and knowledge for the industry.
If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?
Any or every one of them if possible. Experiences and chances like these do not come often, especially within an SME, with TaF.tc not just being recognized on a national scale but a global one, meeting new potential and existing partners or clients overseas is something I want to take advantage of any time possible.
What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?
The uniqueness of our company lies within the culture each and every one of us have chipped in to create with the careful nurturing and input from our higher management. A culture which has not only made it truly a career worth striving for together, but one where people from all ethnicities, backgrounds, and religions can support one another, and even going as far to extend it to our loved ones and significant others.
What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?
I believe that the biggest factor in being a successful company lies within the people that you work with and how closely everyone can work with one another with no filters and/or restrictions, enabling everyone being able to support each other not just professionally but personally. This also enables our loved ones, peace of mind, knowing that the people we spend time with constantly for probably the rest of our lives are people they can trust and ensure our safety.
