Yuxiang (Ray) Zhang

I'm a Course Adviser here at Xmandarin, a new global foreign language school. My job is to recruit students of Chinese learning.

What is your favorite travel memory?

My favorite travel memory was in Guilin, because I think places which have the best view of the sea and mountains is the most comfortable places to travel. I had the chance to view some of the most raw and fresh mountains, lakes and rivers in China. Not only there was great view and scenery, also it was a relaxed vacation to get away stress and pain.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

I have changed and grown in quite a few aspects of myself since I started working in my current company. I improved my English language skills, since it's a Chinese language school and there are students from overseas and all the countries. I also improved my communication skill since my job is sales and I have to talk to all kinds of people in order to help them to register to the course.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

The best story I've heard from a return student is: a student came back to school and said not only she had amazing experience with the teacher about lessons and how she improved her Chinese level, but also the school could offer her the 6 month student visa she needed for the upcoming new term because she would study longer than last time and would need a long term visa to study.

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

I will choose to enroll the group class that we offer, because in the group class I will have the chance to talk to other people other than the teacher. As classmates, I can learn their mistakes as my own and correct my own skills. I will also have chance to have fun with the classmates when there is no class.

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

It makes our company unique because the products we offer are variable and flexible. We cover all kinds of demands of students and we offer solutions to different people with different situations and difficulties. We care our own students like families and friends. I'm proud whenever we solve any problem for a students as a team and overcome impossible tasks.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

I believe the biggest factor in being a successful company is to create a positive, happy and energetic atmosphere for the employees. We will be passed onto motivation and innovation when the company as a whole has such a positive environment. Everyone will be efficient enough to not only in finishing daily tasks but also with hard problems.
