What is your favorite travel memory?

My favorite travel memory is when I stayed for almost 3 months to Spain (Malaga more specifically) to enhance my Spanish language skills. I participated in an Intensive Spanish language course and I only have great memories of it.

I stayed in an apartment with 2 more roommates. Everyone was from another country and this was a great opportunity for me to improve my English skills as well. We traveled inside Spain a lot - we had extremely fun times there. We ate a lot, we danced a lot, we laughed a lot! It was my first time traveling alone and it was by far my best vacation ever!

I strongly recommend this type of vacation (thus also why we started λamda Project: to support people socializing, learning, experiencing).

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

Working on my own company, and especially in Greece of crisis, was (and still is) a great challenge for me.

I was always working for providing quality education, but now, having everything under my own control is even more challenging. This helped me grow in several sectors, as I am trying to improve my work and the offered services on a daily basis.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

There was a student who came all across Australia to here to be supported with his Greek language skills, as he was a second-generation Greek ex-pat and had communication problems with his Greek family, who was still living in Greece. For me, it was a great success and really fulfilling the feedback that he actually succeeded in having a real conversation with his grandmother, as well as she was also thrilled to actually communicated with her grandson!

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

I think I really need to participate in our Ancient Greek course, as speaking Modern Greek is like speaking a totally different language. It would be of great personal interest (and I will definitely do that in the future) to deepening my knowledge in Ancient Greek, as I am really fascinated by its complexity and almost magic symmetry.

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

Our company is unique due to our vision. Our vision is to create an efficient world-class learning system that engages and potentiates people from all around the world to be familiar with modern Greek language and culture.

We give prominence to the contemporary elements of Greek culture worldwide through our “λearn the λocal” approach. Our mission is to treat every student as an individual, creative and potential cultural representative. In our center, we emphasize the social, emotional and intellectual aspects of what we think as the contemporary Greek culture.

We unify the past with the present, we walk the road to the future. We prepare people who love our culture and want it to be part of their lives.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

Our company is unique due to our vision. Our vision is to create an efficient world-class learning system that engages and potentiates people from all around the world to be familiar with modern Greek language and culture.
