What is your favorite travel memory?

In 2017 I traveled to Italy. I was a student from the University of Athens participating in the Erasmus program at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. For six months I was living inside a fairytale called Venice. Beautiful landscapes, small boats sailing in the canals, and me walking through every single alley of the city. I enjoyed a lot, my classes, at the university, but even more, I enjoyed partying in Venice with my fellow students.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

I have met people from all around the world and they have shared with me their incredible stories. Every single one of them has a different background and a unique reason for wanting to learn Greek. Meeting all these people has changed me a lot. Also, I have gained a lot of experience so I can teach my students in accordance with their learning style and their goals.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

A student of mine started learning Greek because of love. She fell in love with a Greek guy and she decided to start learning Greek. She wanted to speak Greek so she can understand him better and express her love to him in Greek. And her plan was successful. The guy was impressed by her progress and fell in love with her as well. Today they live together in Greece as a couple.

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

I would definitely go for the Standard Intensive Greek Language Course. I imagine myself as someone who does not know Greek at all. I am sure I would be amazed by the progress I would have made during this class. Also, all the fun activities and games in Greek would match my learning style and I am sure that they would help me learn and have fun at the same time. So, for sure, Standard Intensive Greek Language Course.

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

What makes The λamda Project unique is that we present to students the absolute reality about Greece. Of course, we admire ancient Greece and we present it to students but where we put our focus is on modern Greece and modern Greek culture. Every time that my team and I are sharing true stories about Greece with our students, I feel so proud.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

What makes The λamda Project unique is the people in it. Everyone is a unique person and feels free to show his authentic character among the others. As a result, a strong and valuable team is formed and everything works perfectly. Also, students that are coming to the λamda Project feel this team spirit and are becoming members of this team. So the team is expanding and is becoming what we love to call The big λamda family.
