Chale is from an ancient city, Xi’an, which is in Central China. He has graduated from the National University of Mining and Technology and is pursuing a Master’s Degree at the same school.

He’s interested in ancient Chinese culture. And now, he enjoys sharing his culture with au pairs in Aupairia Cultural Activities and is happy to learn more about the au pairs' home culture. In fact, he is working as a friend with au pairs as well as an Aupairia program supervisor.

What is your favorite travel memory?

My favorite travel memory is when I went to Shanxi Province, China for the summer camp in 2018 as a leader for teenagers. What makes me remember deeply is not only the beautiful views of Shanxi and the enthusiasm of people there but also the splendid Chinese culture of this place. And when I first worked as a volunteer leader for teenagers to explain the culture and experience the culture, I found that I have a great interest in sharing and explaining culture with others. So I came to work for Aupairia.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

Since I worked for Aupairia, I found that my biggest change is becoming more tolerant and willing to accept different cultures. At the same time, I became more responsible and patient.

I am deeply aware of the importance of guiding students to live in a foreign country, so I am committed to providing students with a better life and travel guide.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

There was once a Mexican girl who wanted to come to China since she was a child, even though she did not know where China was, what the Chinese language was and what the Chinese culture was like. Then one day she saw Aupairia's enrollment information and signed up for the program - her adventure in China started.

During her six-month program, she felt the charm of Chinese culture and experienced the life and culture in this land. After the six-month program ended, she decided to extend the program for another six months to continue her Chinese study and Aupairia program in China.

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

I will choose the Chinese study program, because the first step to experience a country's culture is to learn its language, and the Chinese learning program will give me an important opportunity to learn Chinese. And most importantly, it's free.

Living with my Chinese family every day, I can experience Chinese culture from all aspects of life. And in my spare time, I can also travel in China, especially the trip to Xi'an. I think the oldest city in the world must be very wonderful.

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

I think our inclusive, serious, rigorous and open-minded corporate culture is unique. That's what makes me proud.

Our colleagues unite with each other, understand each other, and work together to focus on students' development and provide a better platform for young people. We are doing something meaningful, which is very worthy being proud of.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

I think the biggest factor for a successful company is to have an inclusive culture and a sense of unity and collaboration.

Do meaningful things and make long-term plans for students' development. For example, what we are doing now is to plan for a long term development for children and young people, which will not only become a lifetime experience but also provide inexhaustible motivation for the rest of our lives.
