What is your favorite travel memory?

It's so hard to choose only one memory. I particularly love seeing groups really starting to bond. Sometimes by day 3 it feels like groups have been friends for years!

One memory that sticks out is a night out in Hoi An, Vietnam. It was December. We drew names from a hat to buy each other's outfits! Clair bought me a Santa costume to wear! The group were all comfortable in each others company as it was day 7 of the tour. Everyone let loose! It was such a fun night :)

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

Without question! This company and job role has taught me so much. There are so many skills that I've learned or improved since taking the role.

Some of these include organisational skills, people skills and problem solving. This job has also improved my confidence! It takes a lot to stand and communicate effectively to a large group of people. I consider the growth I've had in this role invaluable.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

Very often, we get travellers on our groups who have previously travelled with us in another country. We'll often hear stories about other group leaders and tours in other countries.

It's nice when I get a group member who knows a friend of mine from Thailand for example. Often if we realise we are going to share a group member, we send each other messages through them. It makes it feel like a family!

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

I'd like to explore the option of changing country at some point! Perhaps Sri Lanka or Japan!

If I were to change role at INTRO, I would look to work my way up to Senior Group Leader, and perhaps one day step into management. To do this, I'd receive some additional training, such as management training.

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

I can honestly say INTRO Travel has my back. I believe in the company, and the products they provide! The company do their absolute best to take good care of us.

I also love that the company hire such like minded people. Some of the most amazing people I've ever met work for this company. We're always looking out for each other.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

I believe it's all down to getting the best from the people you hire. You could have the best staff in the world, but if they're not correctly motivated their performance will suffer!

Something INTRO Travel do so well, is make me want to work for them. I want to show my travellers the best experience I can. I want INTRO to grow so more and more people can come and experience these awesome tours. Belief is a powerful thing.
