What is your favorite travel memory?

Going to Kuta, Bali, in 2017 with 3 of my closest friends, and experiencing some of the best nightlife I have ever come across. On the day of visiting the biggest waterpark, we were unaware that a volcano had erupted. Due to the eruption, we were stranded and unable to fly home. We had largely run out of funds and had to pool our money together to last a couple days. Frightening at the time, but unforgettable.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

Absolutely. I had no idea about management consulting before I started working. My task and time management needed a lot of attention and improvement. I have learned to delegate my tasks a bit better, and developed my professional communication skills. I have definitely figured out what I enjoy and what I don't enjoy as much.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

We had an international student on a visa in the UK who faced rejections from many multinational firms several times. Her status as an “international student” made it difficult to secure a full time offer at any firm. After interning with one of our partners, she landed two roles! She was hired on a full-time basis at a London based financial services advisory firm, AND started a part-time remote internship at a New-York based alternative asset management firm.

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

The International Internship Program. It is such a phenomenal way to safely go over to another country and experience the professional culture, as well as the social culture, whilst gain valuable experience and developing a professional skill set. It is so well-organised and designed for the intern's benefit! The support is all there.

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

I am proud of my team everyday. They are willing to go out of their way and above and beyond to help passionate individuals achieve their goals. They have also created an atmosphere within the company where everyone is equal and plays equally vital roles in the company's success. No one is more important than the other. The collaborative nature in the company is tangible.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

Collaboration. I love how the company I work for pays as much attention to their clients' success as their own team's success. So much effort is put into making sure that everyone is communicating and working together - if anyone is ever dissatisfied, it is almost solved right away. I feel that a company is only truly successful outside once it is successful inside.
