Staff Spotlight: Andrea Buelvas

Teach Abroad Program Specialist
Andrea is originally from Madrid, Spain. Before joining this company, she worked as an English teacher at an English academy. Her passion for travel and assisting people in relocating to Spain led her to join RVF International. She believes in sharing the incredible lifestyle Spain offers. Having lived abroad herself, she intimately understands the challenges that come with moving to a different country and is happy to be able to assist others through this process.

What is your favorite travel memory?

My favorite travel memory is from my trip to Bavaria, Germany, in 2018. I visited Germany for the first time to meet my in-laws. They did an excellent job of showing me some of the most beautiful places in southern Germany. I felt incredibly special and excited to witness the country's stunning beauty. We explored numerous castles, lakes, mountains, and more. It was a truly magical experience.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

Firstly, I've come to realize how fulfilling it is to know that I can make a positive impact on people's lives through my work. Helping individuals navigate the challenges of moving to another country has been a rewarding experience.

In addition to this, I've become more aware of the intricacies and difficulties that can arise when relocating to a foreign land. This heightened awareness has allowed me to better anticipate and address the needs and concerns of those undergoing this transition.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

One of the best stories I've heard from a returning student is when they expressed their gratitude for our constant support at every stage of their journey. We were there to help and assist them whenever they needed it, making their experience more comfortable.

One of the most fulfilling aspects of this job is seeing the happiness and excitement of the people who have joined our program.

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

I would choose our 'Teach English in Spain Program' because it not only provides you with all the necessary support when you travel abroad but also offers the opportunity to live in another country where you'll be working less than 16 hours a week. This allows you to have ample free time to travel and explore, making it an amazing and enriching experience.

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

At RVF International, what sets us apart is our unwavering commitment to our clients' well-being and satisfaction. We take great pride in ensuring that our clients are exceptionally well taken care of throughout their journey.

Our primary objective is to minimize the stress and maximize the enjoyment of the entire experience. We believe in making our clients feel supported and informed every step of the way, so they know they are never alone during the process. We are especially proud of our team when we see the positive impact we have on our clients' lives, helping them achieve their dreams while providing peace of mind and excellent service.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

The biggest factor in being a successful company, in my belief, is actively listening to your clients' feedback. It's essential to ensure that you are offering precisely what people need, rather than assuming what they might require from your services or products. This approach makes a significant difference in meeting and exceeding customer expectations and ultimately leads to long-term success.
