I've been a part of English Wizards for a bit over a year now, and definitely believe it to be a unique experience! I'm really happy to be able to help foreigners who want to come to Poland and need her assistance as both an English and Polish speaker. I'm pursuing a bachelor's degree in English Philology, and I have only 1 year left!

What is your favorite travel memory?

One of my favorite travel memories is from a solo trip I took to Gdańsk. I love the sea, and walking along the Baltic coast gave me such peace. There was a moment when I sat by the beach, watching the sunset with locals and travelers alike, and it struck me how beautiful and diverse my own country is. What made it special was how spontaneous the trip was—I didn’t have a rigid itinerary, and that sense of freedom made every experience feel more meaningful. It reminded me that sometimes the best memories are made when you let go of plans and just explore.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

Since joining English Wizards, I've developed a much greater sense of responsibility. Helping people move to Poland is a big task, and it’s made me realize how much I can contribute to someone’s journey in a new country. I've also become much better at problem-solving, especially when dealing with complex visa processes or unexpected issues that arise during relocations. Each challenge has pushed me to think on my feet, and it’s been really rewarding to see how my efforts help people build a new life here. Personally, it’s also strengthened my confidence, knowing that I can handle whatever comes my way.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

One story that stands out was from a participant who came here from Japan. She originally planned to stay in Poland for just six months but ended up extending her stay for over two years. She fell in love with the culture and the warmth of the people, especially in the smaller towns. She told me about a particularly touching experience where a local family invited her into their home during the holidays, even though they barely spoke the same language. That simple act of kindness changed her view of Poland and made her feel like she had found a second home here. Hearing stories like that reminds me why I love what I do.

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

I would probably choose the Freelance Digital Nomad program. It combines flexibility and adventure, which really appeals to me. Being able to work while exploring new cities and immersing myself in different cultures sounds like a perfect balance. Plus, I’ve seen firsthand how this program helps people gain independence and thrive in new environments, and I’d love to experience that sense of freedom for myself. The idea of being able to travel and still have a stable job in a foreign country is really exciting, especially with the support we provide to help freelancers navigate local regulations.

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

English Wizards stands out because of how personal our approach is. We don’t just treat participants like numbers. From day one, we’re there to guide them through every step of their transition to Poland, and we make sure to provide individual support tailored to their needs. I think our genuine interest in people’s experiences makes us different from other companies in the same space.

I was especially proud of my team during our recent expansion into supporting digital nomads. It was a new territory for us, and there were a lot of challenges, but the way the team pulled together to create a comprehensive program was inspiring. Everyone pitched in, sharing their expertise, and we successfully launched the program, helping a whole new group of people settle in Poland. It was a real moment of growth for us as a company.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

I believe the biggest factor in a company’s success is its adaptability. The world is always changing—whether it's local laws, global travel restrictions, or the needs of your customers—and being able to evolve with those changes is crucial. At English Wizards, we've adapted many times, whether it was during the pandemic or expanding our services to non-teachers. It’s also about staying connected with the people you serve, listening to their feedback, and never being too rigid in your processes. Flexibility and a customer-first mindset are the keys to staying relevant and successful.
