What is your favorite travel memory?

My favorite travel memory would have to be my gap year in Australia. I bought a van, road-tripped along the east coast, worked different jobs, met incredible people from all over the world, and ended the year backpacking through Southeast Asia. Six countries in just two months. It was absolutely incredible.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

Since working at my current company, I’ve become even more international in the way I think, understand the world, and communicate with people. I’ve discovered a real passion for education and helping students explore the world in the most enriching way. You know that feeling of wanting a job that truly makes an impact? I feel like I’m doing exactly that, and I absolutely love it!

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

I’ve heard so many amazing stories from alumni, but the ones that stand out most are about students who did such a great job with their host companies that they were invited back after their studies or even hired right after the program. I love these stories because they show that sometimes, you’re just one internship away from moving to your dream country!

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

Without a doubt, I’d choose Shanghai. I’ve always been fascinated by the city and can’t wait to see it with my own eyes. It’s so different from everything I know, and China has such a rich culture, incredible cities, beautiful traditions, and stunning natural landscapes that I’ve always dreamed of exploring!

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

One word: diversity! I absolutely love it. I had only ever dreamed of working with people from so many different countries. Plus everyone is passionate and loves travel with all their heart, which not only creates amazing anecdotes but also brings the team together. I’m also constantly impressed by how hardworking everyone is. After all, it takes a lot of courage and determination to move to another country and be the very best at what you do.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

Great communication between team members and a lot of creative freedom. Not everyone will do their job the same way, and that diversity is what makes the team so well-rounded. And of course, life outside of work is just as important: gatherings with colleagues, team events and activities, trips, and a flexible schedule all contribute to a happy and productive team!
