Having roots dating back to 6th century BC, Milan has exploded into a diverse and fast-paced metropolis filled with culture, food, fashion, and creative souls. At one point in history, Milan was named a capital of the Western portion of the Roman empire. Since that time, Milan has experienced the true Italian Renaissance, booming the city's artistic and creative roots. A period of French and Spanish governing has also left it's mark on Milan's architecture and cultural neighborhoods thereby allowing a large amount of diversity in the Milanese population. Milan has since emerged as one of Italy's largest centers for fashion, finance, industry, and media.

*All internships in Italy require that participants are enrolled for academic credit to meet immigration regulations for unpaid internships.
