Our conservation technology internship is for people looking to explore careers at the intersection of environment and technology. From renewable energy (solar, hydropower) to coral reef conservation, our Bali conservation technology internships offer the opportunity to intern with nonprofits, social enterprises, and micro enterprises who are tackling some of the world’s biggest sustainability challenges.

Bali is the most famous island in Indonesia – a diverse archipelago nation and the largest economy in Southeast Asia. The country also claims the second-highest level of biodiversity in the world and is home to orangutans, Komodo dragons, humpback whales, and manta rays.
While Indonesian borneo boasts the oldest forests and fastest carbon-guzzling trees on the planet.

From hydroturbines, coral reef surveys and greenhouse gas measurement to tackling coastal solar panel erosion and low tech water filtration, Start Me Up, has identified organizations in Bali that are offering unique internships for students interested in technology, innovation, and sustainability.
