About Program
Imagine waking to a crystal-clear river, stepping onto your jungle balcony, and knowing your stay protects endangered wildlife. That's Ritmo del Río.
Our Spanish & Farm Internship offers 8 hours of private 1-on-1 Spanish classes and 5 hours of volunteer work weekly on our 14-hectare nature reserve. Learn permaculture, monitor wildlife with our biologist, and contribute to conservation while enjoying the world's best climate: warm days, cool nights, no extreme heat.
Stay in shared dorms* (max 4 people) with ensuite bathroom, hot shower, and private balcony. Eat 3 meals daily at our restaurant, including fresh eggs and vegetables from our organic garden. Enjoy salsa at sunset, Afro-Colombian drumming, yoga, birdwatching, and night walks.
Your presence protects the endangered white-footed tamarin (Titi Gris), found only in Colombia. By choosing us, you offset your carbon footprint and give back to the land.
Perfect for solo female travelers.
*Upgrade to a private cabin available.
