Greek culture, language and hospitality

Learning the greek culture, language and hospitality in a two weeks programme could not be better. It was so helpful for my greek having lessons and activities with a teacher that made sure everyone was feeling nice. Staying at a typical greek house is so interesting and fun. Being at a house with other students but having my own room to rest and take my time off the team gave me the balance I needed. To be treated like you are special is one thing I appreciated the most and I have not found elsewhere. Cannot wait to be back!

A Unique and Immersive Greek Learning Experience!

I attended this Greek Summer School last year, and it was an incredible experience! From the very first day, I felt welcomed by the friendly instructors and my fellow students. The small group sizes allowed for plenty of speaking practice, and I always felt encouraged to express myself in Greek.

One of the highlights was the immersive approach—daily conversations with locals, cultural activities, and even cooking and dance classes. This made learning Greek feel natural and fun rather than just studying from a textbook. The excursions were equally amazing, from museum visits to interesting experiences like the traditional cheese factory.

The lessons were well-structured, with three hours of engaging instruction each day, followed by activities that reinforced what we learned. I also appreciated the personalized notes and exercises, which helped me track my progress.

If you're looking for an authentic way to improve your Greek while exploring the culture, I highly recommend this program. Whether you’re a beginner or more advanced, it’s a fantastic way to learn and connect with Greece!

What was your funniest moment?
One of the funniest moments was when I tried to pay for something in cash but completely forgot the Greek word μετρητά (cash). I stood there struggling to explain, using hand gestures and random words, until my teacher jumped in and saved me! We all had a good laugh about it afterward, and I definitely never forgot that word again!
Pros
