Why choose Advocates for Rural Community Health ?
Advocates for Rural Community Health is an international nonprofit organization providing quality healthcare services to rural regions on a global scale. We are seeking 4th year medical students and nursing students to work in public health centers abroad.
ARCH's focus in on our top 3 priorities:
1. Human capital - ARCH facilitates international elective rotations for medical students. Fourth year medical students can conduct an international rotation at a public hospital.
2. Reusable sanitary pads program - ARCH facilitates programs for adolescent girls to learn how to make reusable sanitary pads. Health practitioners participate in facilitating the program.
3. Hand washing - ARCH organizes hand washing tutorials at primary and secondary schools in Gulu, Uganda.
If you are interested in servicing a rural regions abroad, and making a direct impact on a global scale, participate in one of our programs. We work with schools to earn elective credit.
