Africa Centre for Holistic Management

The Africa Centre for Holistic Management was established near Vic Falls, to enhance food and water security and human livelihoods through Holistic Land Management practices and training. Utilizing livestock herds to restore degraded watersheds, wildlife habitat and croplands to health. We train and empower rural communities to restore their grassland and wildlife. There are numerous ongoing projects such as: chickens, eggs, pigs, goats and obviously cattle, vegetable garden. Apart from these projects, there are other endeavours that Volunteers can get involved with, such as: Road maintenance, Hospitality, Wildlife, Gardening, and Herding the livestock daily then putting them into secure "boma's" at night for their protection against lions and other predators.
