We provide fully funded and low cost volunteering, internship & work experience opportunities. The AWdF is a UK registered conservation charity (1167109) with 30 years experience in providing higher education programmes accredited by the European Union. Tens of thousands of students and young people from around the globe have gained vital skills and experience passing through our programmes.

Our volunteers work in 5 programme areas: Sustainable Living, Film & Photography, Ecotourism, Enterprise and a focus on Marine Research & Conservation. They are trained to be ‘Research Guides’ on whale watching boats, collecting data on the 28 species of cetaceans that can be found in Tenerife waters. Other research: data collection on a private research vessels (RIB), land based research stations, acoustics and plastic pollution. Our core goal is to raise awareness and inspire action.

The AWdF runs the Atlantic Ocean Cetacean Network (AOCN) and is a part of The Fair Earth Foundation Family.
