Awisi Foundaton

Awisi Foundation is an NGO with keen interest in Orphans or kids from deprived homes. It is registered under the Ghana Companies Act, 1963 (Act 179) with a working mandate of transforming the lives of orphans.

The Awisi Foundation is a non-profit organisation founded by Rebecca Dede Kofi-Nomo and centers around the orphanage where she grew up; Nectar Orphanage Home.

After graduating from university, Rebecca looked to give back to the orphanage that gave her a better life by supporting her new found family with their academic and physical aspirations, as well as the psychological well-being. The Foundation also runs a volunteer program and we are looking for Associations to engage in a charitable partnership.

Through the Awisi Foundation, thirty underprivileged kids have now benefitted from an educational sponsorship, four of which are now studying at a university level.
