Why choose Baboon Project Kenya?

Baboon Project Kenya is a conservation initiative based in Nakuru, Kenya, dedicated to enhancing wildlife protection, restoring natural habitats and ecosystems, and addressing human-wildlife conflicts in the communities surrounding Lake Nakuru National Park.
Our overarching goal is to enhance wildlife conservation, minimize human-wildlife conflicts, and restore natural ecosystems while promoting sustainable, nature-based solutions and ecosystem services.
In partnership with local authorities, including Kenya Wildlife Services( KWS)and the Wildlife Research Institute (WRTI), we actively involve community members and international volunteers in our conservation activities.
Recently, we have launched various environmental conservation efforts aimed at alleviating the effects of recurring droughts that have adversely impacted wildlife. Our initiatives include drilling boreholes and installing eco-friendly solar-powered water pumps to benefit both wildlife and park rangers.
