Bali Diving Academy

I had a wonderful experience doing my divemaster and marine biology training with Bali Diving Academy. We had 4 weeks focused on our divemaster and then 2 weeks on the marine biology. We had an introduction to marine biology, biodiversity and coral reefs and transect methodology. We also collaborated with 2 coral conservation/restauration projects. The team of Bali Diving Academy is great, helpful and professional. My instructor was very nice and friendly. Nusa Lembongan is an amazing place with its beautiful and preserved reefs and mantas. I highly recommend this program

What a wonderful experience! The program is very well run and the team were so helpful with everything, including visa help, transport assistance, and I felt so supported when I unfortunately needed medical assistance, they really looked after me! The accommodation on the island is lovely and in a really good location too. Marina the marine bio instructor is wonderful, she helped me so much through any problems I might have and im a much better diver now thanks to her help!
We really learnt so much during our time on the project and had so much fun setting yo the coral scanning and watching it come to life

As a biologist, I wanted to improve my diving skills and at the same time learn more about marine ecosystems. The Divemaster coupled with the marine protected areas internship offered by Bali Diving Academy was the perfect match! The location (Nusa Lembongan) is really nice, the reef around is amazing and the team was very friendly and professional. Unfortunately, because of COVID, we couldn't finish the internship, but we still had the opportunity to start with coral transects. However, I had a great experience, making new friends and discovering wonderful places! I totally recommend BDA :)

I followed the Divemaster and Marine Protected Area internship with Bali Diving Academy at the beginning of 2020 and had a really nice experience! The staff was super nice and professional, the training was well taught and the group was small, allowing the teachers to really focus on each student. Furthermore, the dives sites around Nusa Lembongan and Penida are amazing, full of life! Unfortunately, we could only start surveying the reefs before covid forced me to return home. Anyway, I would highly recommend BDA to anyone!

I enrol this program few years ago and I was looking for DMT training in south East Asia because I am from Germany. I chose Bali Diving Academy because I had experiences diving with them many years ago before I decided to take Dive master training program.

I love the program for a few reasons :
1. I want to do more than dive master training, I want to learn beyond only diving but knowing the ocean.
2. My teacher was Marina, she is a very passionate Marine Biologist , I have learnt a lot from her.
3.Bali Diving Academy staff are really nice and helpful, they hire mostly local people, I like to support them.
4. They treat the dive master fairly without ask us to do something beyond our responsibilities.
5. Nusa Lembongan & Penida are a really beautiful island, rich coral reef ( thats mainly my passion) , full of marine lives .
6. They initiate regular beach clean up which I like it so much , I really enjoy my time caring our ocean while taking a very interesting course.
7. Its a fun program and I have met some interesting friends during the course.

Thanks Bali Diving Academy , I hope to come back to Bali again!
