Bluemoon Projects

Bluemoon Projects is a family-based construction charity providing social assistance to marginalised and impoverished communities in and around Cape Town, South Africa. We construct and formalise early childhood development centres (ECDs), providing children in informal township communities with secure places to learn, develop, and thrive.

Although apartheid ended almost thirty years ago, it's legacy of underdeveloped, racially-segregated, urban areas remains. Issues faced by the wider population are heightened in township communities where there is unequal access to opportunities and residents face additional risks such as fires and flooding due to their informal living environment.

We are extremely dedicated to ensuring the long-term sustainability of our projects so we undertake all our projects embodied by our family values (truth, trust, transparency) and community promises (collaboration, innovation, quality). We started our journey in 2016 and have come a long way since then!
