About Program
Our volunteer placements combine meaningful project work with authentic cultural experiences and unique adventure thrills. Volunteering on our 2-8 week long placements, you'll get the rare opportunity to work in vibrant township communities and experience Cape Town as a seasoned local.
As a volunteer, you'll assist us with each of the key pillars of our organisation:
-You'll provide vital assistance adding the beautiful finishing touches to our newly constructed learning centres.
-You'll assist our partner ECD's by providing teaching assistance and ensuring the general well-being of all the children who attend our centres.
-You'll help us to distribute excess food, bedding and blankets, and basic supplies which we collect throughout the year to those in need.

Program Highlights
- You'll be staying at the luxury Southern Sun Hotel located in the heart of Cape Town's lively Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. It's a stone throw away from world-renowned attractions such as the Zeitz MOCCA, Two Oceans Aquarium, and the City Bowl.
- Whether you wish to free dive into the Atlantic's wondrous kelp forests, climb majestic mountains, taste delicious Cape Malay flavours, or stroll through stunning vineyards with a Pinotage in hand - we've got you covered!
- We're a non-profit organisation, not a travel agent, which means that the entirety of your volunteer fee will be spent on either the cost of your placement or the communities we serve!
- You'll get the opportunity to visit and work in township communities inaccessible to the average tourist, and we'll share with you all of our Cape Townian knowledge and experience to ensure your stay is filled with adventure and cultural fullfillment!
- The safety of our volunteers is our number one priority. We exercise due diligence by implementing rigorous risk assessments, third-party audits, and emergency action plans for all of the activities and locations which our volunteers engage in!
