The Center - A Family of Families

The Center accompanies, supports and empowers families in situations of vulnerability throughout the north of Quito, Ecuador. Our foundational ideology has stayed the same even with the changing times: we meet our community where they are and ask how we can help in their efforts to achieve their familial goals. Our integral family programming focuses on education, access to preventative health services, nutrition & early childhood development, food security & sovereignty, skills training, spiritual accompaniment, and building community. Since our inception in 1964, we have helped more than 6,000 families break the cycle of generational poverty.
